I just installed cpr pipes on my viper. Here's my jetting spec mains= 160, 162.5,162.5..pilots=50. Needles pto and center on 4 with washer on top and bottom and mag on 4 with both washers on bottom. Screws at 2 and a half. When I run it will fall on its face at 8000 rpm and than I make another pass and it will run like it's supposed too? I check the plugs and the center has barely any color? I've checked the boot for cracks and reeds and everything looks fine?! Is there anything else I can look for that can cause that cylinder to run lean?! I have another set of carbs that I'm about to just swap but figured I'd ask on Here before I do that..

Have you got your carb vent lines hooked to the airbox like stock? Check to see whether the jetting recommendations call for the vent lines in or out of the airbox. I have not dealt with those 2 stroke triples for a long time but some pipe manufactures wanted the vent lines hanging down by the carbs like the SRXs. The sled will run richer at high speed with the vent lines disconnected from the air box.

This setup calls for the vent line to be hooked up. Is it possible it's running so rich that it's flooding itself? I just went out to garage and mess with some more. As I was running it and taking temps I noticed fuel is spewing out the exhaust at the manifold. Would my coil maybe going bad? I'm just stumped lolHave you got your carb vent lines hooked to the airbox like stock? Check to see whether the jetting recommendations call for the vent lines in or out of the airbox.
