I have a Bender pipe for a 1999 Phazer 500 for sale...
I put stock back on (kids sled) and it is way too rich with "Bender jetting"
So not sure if it is indeed bigger than stock, but I can confirm that it flows better.

it would probably flow enough but you would need to bend it or extend it so that it goes into the stock location.

chevy283 , did you determine the muffler is bunged ? And if bunged , can you shake out
any debris to determine the type and extent of rust blockage or critter nest.
I don't know who made the holes in mine but only see the patches .. could send a
pic of patches to see where they worked on it.
Had a Yam mini enduro bung the welded in spark arrester enough that oil started collecting
in the lower bend in pipe.. a much lower tech exhaust ,, the inlet pipe went all the way to
the stinger .. had a block welded into pipe about 1/2 way and holes drilled into pipe each side
of the block and they were blocked with carbon.
Back to your orig post ,, There are two seals on PTO side ,, the one you see keeps the autolube
cavity sealed ... You would need to remove the upper bung at pump to
try and spray inside.
The two speed / rev box might interfere with any other pipe ??
.
Did you try it with the pipe off ? maybe stick any pipe on that fits and
sticks out of hood cavity just to run it.
