My son was out for a ride a couple days ago on his 97 Vmax 600 XTC and his belt grenaded. On closer inspection the front motor mount damper on the clutch side was ripped. I looked up the stock part number and they are not available through Yamaha. After a search I emailed sp1products.com and they responded right away. I called a store near me and gave them the Brand Number SM-09211 and they had 1in stock. He was able to get out for a ride with his buddy last night. Hope this helps someone in a similar predicament.
