Just picked up a 04 yamaha venom. Looking to make my own hyper venom with pipes and 700. Got couple of questions. The venom 600 timing curve work with 700 or can I install a cdi box off a 02 sxr 700 to fix the problem? Next will pipes fit off sxr 700 into venom chassis?

I don't have a definitive answer but the project you are taking on is one I had planned at one time as a piped and ported 700 Venom would be a good sleeper and SRX killer.
I have used a 600CDI on a 600 SX converted to a piped 700 and did not have any issues.
I always felt the SX triple pipes would fit or easily be made to fit in the Venom chassis.
I would use Bender pipes if you can find a set.
Good luck.

Thats what I have is benders. I wrecked my 1998 sx 700 2 yrs ago. Was going to take that setup and put into the sx venom chassis. I was looking sled over today was surprised the venom dont have a toque mount. So ill upgrade that as well during the build. Probably be my last sled I'll buy in my life time. Thanks for the input much appreciated.

Venom came with the redhead non power valve engine 600 triple version. Newer look of the SX Viper and reliability and simplicity of the Red Head SX and SXRs.
