I have a 2000 sxr 700, it needs a new right trailing arm. My question is the mountain max arm the same? They have different Yamaha part numbers and was wondering why if they are the same thing. Thanks

Not sure but their is a guy on eBay that sells reproduced arms. I bought when I crashed my 2000 500 sx

They do have slight differences, because the ski stance on a Mountain Max is narrower than a SXR if I recall correctly.
I always assumed the mounting points for radius rods and shocks may have a slightly different angle, but thats just my guess.

They likely have different camber and caster baked in as well. I'm in need of a pair of red arms myself. Left one is silver and right one is tweaked.
