Just wondering I'm going to put a 600 triple in my vk but wondering about the chain case with the extra power if it would stay together I have faith in everything Yami builds but what you guys think

If you don't ask for it to run like a racing machine and and just use the power it needs to
get around , you would be fine . Otherwise these things weigh over 700 lb when fueled .
It's a tank of a workhorse with a low profile track that should spin you out and
leave you stuck if you go out ripping.
I didn't go back and see if you ever drove it or had just picked it up.
The 20x156" track packs wet snow under it and lifts the pogo sticks of the
firm snow and they just bump steer then in the woods. They have the turning circle
of a triaxle truck. Just making sure you are aware how it drives.
Alignment of the clutches and belt width need to match etc.
I has to rebuild my sled (see other posts),( long story) .. Used a SR540 block and
reed valves but still orig carb. It will buzz along at 50mph making its own track
and expect the stock engine did the same.
Good luck
Try gutting you stock pipe if you feel it is bunged ,, nothing to lose. A mig will
sew it back together.

I don't want a speed demon just want to have power quicker like when in the slush slows you down to pushing it would like to just have a little more power and be able to get up on top if possible I know there heavy and work sleds I fish with it have other yamis in the garage but love the vk other than runs outa power don't expect it to jump outa the slush and fly down the lake lol and I like projects like putting a different engine in and turn it into a liquid machine but it will have a rad and fan lots of room under the hood for thatIf you don't ask for it to run like a racing machine and and just use the power it needs to

have you tried a new primary spring? when my et lugs in the powder/slush, the primary spring has gone weak and will not make it downshift to stay in the power range of the engine.
