Hello. I have on 05 Yamaha SX Venom with just under 4k miles. This is my second season with the sled, and I just took the skid out to replace all the bogeys and bearings. When I was adjusting the track tension I noticed that after I engaged the clutch and let go of the throttle, the track now still spins at idle if I don't hold the brake. I've never pulled the clutch but it seems the previous owner likely did at some point since the bolt is slightly out of alignment.
I do see the three screws on the back side of the clutch, and they each have 2 washers on them, so I'm thinking I could try to remove a washer on each to adjust my belt deflection and make the belt slightly more loose? But I'm not sure if that can be done while the clutch is still on the sled, or if it has to be pulled first

at idle on the stand, it is normal for the track to rotate when everything is good.
you do need to pull the secondary off to remove the washers from the small bolts on the secondary but you only need to do this if the belt is not sitting at the top of the secondary.

Its not normal for the track to spin. It may creep every so slightly. I would guess the belt is short or warn and not shifting all the way back. You want to pull the screws and add washers washers.Hello. I have on 05 Yamaha SX Venom with just under 4k miles.
