Just recently sealed the deal on this project. i think its a japanese market sled. looking to see if any old guru's have heard of it. all ive been able to find is one brochure
i think you are right. the only ones i have seen with those yellow lights on the hood where all japan models. it might have came to usa under a different model designation.
just be aware that the track adjuster bolts like to break while being ridden on those old yamaha bogy suspensions. i used to carry 2 when i went out riding the 1975 gs338 my parents had.
