Guys, just inspected my primary in my Yamaha 700sx 1998. Hard used 3800 miles over the years, never taken apart or serviced. Blew a couple of belts in the last years. On the fixed stem sheave lots of hair cracks in the center, and some spider like also all the way up. The spring side seems in better shape, but still just 1 tiny hair in center and a couple more. Spider and inner sides too dirty, but look ok. Should I send it for this season or change immediately?

primary always heat cracks down at the bottom like that on every yamaha i have ever owned. the crack in the 3rd pic is the one that concerns me. you could run it but odds are it will fail and take out the hood, belly pan and possibly the engine crank in a worst case senario.
