Hope this image uploads. I melted my stator cylinder down on sx700. It was on a -30 day and was thinking something froze in carb that caused it to melt down. Sled ran great before. The exhaust manifold bolt came out on that cylinder so had a manifold leak to not sure if that contributed. Anyways. Replaced that piston. Cylinder was good still. Running it again and trying to be careful it doesn’t happened again. Runs great. Have only done a couple heat cycles and then ran out to full throttle a couple times. The plug from that cylinder has a grey color all the way through. Is this just from break in and not having seated rings yet? Or a sign of lean condition and maybe have a crank seal going out?

My sleds are older but I have never seen a plug that looked like it had been painted
gray before ... the other looks so white it has only fired once and taken out.
Ingesting water droplets will blow any carbon off a hot plug and turn white.
Really comes down to comparison of all the plugs.. they should be the same.
Just choking them or slowing down to an idle should leave more black carbon.
See what other answers you get from owners.
I could see a couple minutes ride keeping them that white (RH pic) but last time
I saw one that gray it was cooked/coated with piston material that even coated
the exhaust , and was a air leak on intake side..
Maybe premix some fuel ?? You had engine apart and expect looked real close at the
intake boot for any cracks.
Got an infrared thermometer ??? If receiving all the correct amount of fuel , the
exhaust pipes should run about the same temp.
Hope someone else has better answer
