on my 03 rx1 i got 135mph on the lake. on the 01 srx i got 125mph on the lake. (went passed 120, what seemed about 5 mph) What is everyone else getting? BTW Both sled BONE stock.

97 700sx, on the lake it pulled 200 kmh on the speedo, i backed off but it was still creeping up. not sure what that is in miles but quite the improvment over last year when it was stock and struggling to hit 170 kmh!

i guess around 124 mph?

I got it up to 75 mph on my '90 Phazer II. Last weekend when I did the Yamaha demo ride at Cruiser Fest I had the '05 RS Vector up to 95 mph and the '05 RX-1 up to 108 mph. I was only at 1/2 throttle on both sleds, but the revs were at 8000 for the Vector and 9500 for the RX-1. I didnt hold them up that high for long though, both sleds only had about 200 miles on them. I wasnt going to be like some other people who took demo rides, abusing a sled that isnt their own. I have too much respect to do that, especially when a company lets you ride a brand-new sled for free.

My speedo only goes to 120 mph and my sled can bury it with no problem.

Stock 04 Rx-1 138 on speedo
Stock 01 srx if it said 130 it would be there 122 mph on gps but shed go more.

Saw 124-125mph on my Viper when it was brand new on Lake Gogebic, Michigan. I have never seen past 113 since I installed the 1.25" lug track. I did see higher for one spurt last year, 117-118 ,when I had the pipes on it. I don't have them on anymore.

But I was on a railway bed that was elevated and huge ditches on each side.

too bad these sleds are nothing compared to the bikes of summer Its hard to get a rush from acceleration on a sled after riding the bike
