need to find the rigght placement for egt probes...using psi tripples on a mod 700 sx...have them at 5.5 inches from the flanges right now...is that too close for these....

the most important thing is that you want to calibrate the sled first by jetting it and checking the piston wash and plugs OFTEN, and see where it is running on the EGTs. When you get it as safe as you want it, you then use the EGT's to see when you are getting close to your redline, which will be different than other peoples based on your exact set up and probe placement. I would think you could make them work there, a little further out might be a little better though.

you can say that again. also different timing will change what you want to see for temps.
