Just looking for a little direction of What is going on with my Viper.. At Very slow speed ONLY.. Like under 5mph. the Sled ratches like a clunk, clunk. sound-feeling.. At higher speeds NO PROBLEM.. Track tension appears normal-not too loose: The Chain appears to be the Right Tension??? The Belt is sitting 1/16 above the secondary?? I don't know what else it could be?, The sled has reverse, good hyfax, properly lined up track??

Put a new belt on....problem solved (most likely) ===SRXSRULE===

sounds to me like srxsrule is right sounds like the belt is worn or you have a spot burned in the belt and it will make the sled feel like the track is skipping. change the belt i bet it will be the problem.

I third the suggestion of a new belt. you can hardly see a flatspot (narrow spot on belt) that will cause the clunk you describe. You can confirm by driving in a parking lot with the hood open and the belt guard off to confirm you feel the clunk on each belt rotation.... been there done that.

I had the problem this year with ratcheting at low speeds and it was chain tension was really lose.
i 4th the sugggestion of a new belt a friend of mine bought a brand new viper s and said he felt a weird vibration. so i took it for a ride and i could tell right away it was a belt. changed the belt problem solved

could also be the driveshaft bearing down under the secondary, behind the speedo housing if the new belt doesn't cure the problem
