Went for a ride up to north bay this weekend. Looked under the hood on Sunday and found a strange site. Running an 8dn belt and all the cogs on top of the belt were missing. Looks like the belt delaminated (correct wording?) Strange thing about it is that I could not find any trace of those missing cogs in the belly pan. They dissapeared!! Any one else ever have this happen? 
I saw it this weekend on a Doo. 2500 miles on the belt, so time to replace anyway. Have never seen a 8dn fail they are as tough as nails.
