I was doing 80-85 on the "pipeline" outside of Nabinway in the U.P. this past weekend. I had gone by this Venture...and then he lit it up. Let me tell ya, that 2005 with a 3 cyl 4 stroke is no doggy-- he went by me like I was standing still...WOW. Now I wouldn't buy a two up but it sure peaked my interest in the 4-stroke, that new 150efi in particular--

dad has a vector and it pulls HARD. harder than my 03 viper up until about 60. but by then he is GOBE! tried an 05 rx1 this past weekend and it pulls the same on the low end and far better on the top. I am a 4 stroke lover for sure, at least of the yamaha 4 strokes...

The Venture's 600 class motor & 144" track would make a awsome U.P. sled ;)!

yea i bet those things would be a good ride for those high-mileage days. Smooth, good power, good economy, and unmatched comfort

wife has a vector, i have a viper, and i am definately impressed with the 4stroke... i was a naysayer at first, but my next sled will have 2 more strokes than my viper.

I can say my viper this last weekend got 13.3 mpg and dads vector got 20-22 mpg. same day and conditions, and same driving style (it was me driving both of them :) )

on our last trip to UP, i used 11 galons of gas in my viper, she used 5 in her vector.... we love that sled, my next one will be a four stroker.
