Just looking for some tips before I start this evening.

have you looked in the tech area on the main site?? I may have something in there...you have to drop the rear of the skid down. Pound the upper shaft thru the skid by threading on an old 14 mm bolt and remove the bolts from the rod ends. The shaft will be tight so do be afraid to pound the crap put of the shaft bolt....remember old bolt...not one from the skid.

I had a quick look but didn't see anything...but I will check again. I'm not expecting too big off a job (hopefully) but you can never have enough good advice when doing this stuff.

Make real sure that the bolt you thread in the shaft either bottoms out against it, or put washers behind it so it does. If you don't you can ruin the shaft. The pounding will take the soft aluminum threads right out of it. Trust me, been there yada yada yada. Maxdlx

yea DEFINATELY do as MaxDlx said, i watched my buddy tear up his shaft the same way, very easy to do with that soft aluminum
