Hi I wondering which multiangle helix would suit me best.I have a 136"-1.750 deep track. The machine is a 700 mm piped and ported along with bored carbs, boost bottle etc. The style of riding I do is aggressive trail riding, breaking trails is deep snow as well as climbing some good size hills but no mountains.I was leaning towards a dalton 48-42.Please give any in put you can give.
thanks
Marcus

it depends on the exact set up, but i would say that the 48/42 would be a good starting point

Just wondering if anyone has an idea on what helix i should be using? I have a 03 Viper, with roller seconday 144 studs. And heel clicker weights. Is there a diffrence in the helix's if you have a roller set up or are they all the same? I think I have a st8 42 in it right now. Just need some help.

Hey DV hows it goin'? You saw how well my long track was runnin'. I have a Hauck roller with a 51/43,green spring at 70, and stock primary weights with a 4.5 gram rivet in the tip. Before the stretch job I could pul 115 mph all day long woth a one time high of 122 on the ol' dream meter. You should be able to use stock or aftermarket helix's on most rollers. Hope this helped.

Doing good, how about yourself? Yes that does help I think I'm going to try this 48/34 Heel clicker Helix that I have here. When we were up in muni my dream meter was consistly hitting 117 when we were runing back and fourth on that lake, so I guess that isn't to bad. But I'm only pulling between 8100-8200 rpms. So I' ging ti take some tip weight out also. Thanks

Wow!!

You are under revving by 2-300 rpm. Mine likes about 8600 for best topend. No experience with thos primary weights, but usually 1 gram for 100 rpm change. I also saw that blueblood has a 53/43 dalton for sale. I think that might be a good choice. It is the reccomended helix from the tech pages. Good luck and hope you get some more riding in.

The roller rooster from advant-edge with a 41/35 works great or i have also used a 43/39 with good results in a similar sled.
