I am from Maine and have noticed that the value of used sleds and new sleds for that matter are more than anywheres else. We are paying more for our sleds new and they keep their value. For example, last year i sold my 98 srx 600 with 4500 mls easy for $3200 (in the summer), paid 3800 for it the year before. All sleds are like that up here. I could seriously make a living by going out west and buying sleds then selling them here. As for the 06's not one dealer will go under 10,000 for the new GT. All of the other sleds follow accordingly. I had a dealer tell me he was on his bottom dollar selling me a Gt for 10200 and he could not even lower his price if i were to buy 2 of them. Just curious if any one else is noticing this and has an idea why?

This past fall when I was in the market I had a hard time finding a reasonably priced mountain sled. I looked into several out west and considered buying one and having it shipped on over. I also looked at a few flatlanders with the intention of building what I wanted. I bet on average, a sled on the par of what I was looking or was at least $1000 cheaper out west than here in the northeast.
I have a friend that drove to MI this past spring to pick up a Polaris for his dad. Two days of driving for a deal that was almost too go to be true......
