i have a 2001 srx with a little over 2000 miles on it and i have it all apart and the crank out and wondered if i should have it trued and what not before it put it back in. keep in mind that i will have an 835 kit on it, as well as a turbo or nitrous and some bender/hauck racing pipes. what is the true/welding on a crank anyways? or should i just have the bearings replaced? any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated. thanks!!!
 

dont get the bearings replaced unless they are bad, that is VERY expensive. If you are planning on putting nitrous and a big bore on it though, i would definately get it trued and maybe welded, so that it is not "out" at all, as that causes bad vibrations that are only amplified when more power is added.
 
truing and welding depends on where you go, probably around 100-150 bucks. PTO bearing is 185, centers are 110, mag is 150. Do you have reason to believe your bearings are bad or something, because they aren't cheap.
