Has anyone done this or heard of this and whats your thoughts or results. 2001 srx Gut out the airbox and bump up two jet sizes. Heard it's supposed to act like it has a cold air kit and have great throttle response. Any horror stories or good results?????

from what I hear gutting the airbox is a jetting nightmare and only works in high altitudes.
Don't believe everything you hear . . .
