I have about 1700 miles on my 04 viper s and the rip saw track is wasted.A lot of the lugs on each side of the track are torn off.Im taking this track off and buying a 1" camoplast predetor track so i can stud my sled.Anyone intrested in a ripsaw track cheap?

yeah, I kinda have the same thoughts! It hooks up good but mine is missing about 3 lugs and in about 1400 miles.

I have the ripsaw on my 05rx with 1900 miles on it already and haven't had any lug problems -yet. i ride wheelies with it and even had it in low snow cond.. overall i'm pretty pleased with it so far. i'm thinking it's the best stock track yammi's ever put on a sled. i have had a predator track on my ol srx and it was a very nice track also. if you're having probs with the ripsaw you'll like the traction of the predator. my.02

My ripsaw only has 900 miles on it but its perfect. Best track I've ever had for trail riding, Traction suffers alot in powder though. ===SRXSRULE===

I wonder if Camoplast will warranty the OEM tracks?? A freind of mine has had his delaminate..which is not good. They do seem to come apart easily.

I know when it comes to tires, the oem ones often aren't as good as the "same" tire purchased at a tire shop. the oem cheap out and maybe get 2/100 mpg better, but often wear like crazy. I wonder if oem spec'd tracks aren't the same

Im gonna call the dealer and see if i could get a new track under warranty. The sleds a left over 04 and has about 1700 miles on it.

the thing about tracks being covered under warranty is that usually the dealer will just say that it is because of how the sled was ridden, including conditions and track spin. It would be nice if it would be covered, but personally i wouldn't count on it.
