M-10 in an SRX? Opinions Needed
first off, wow, been awhile since i've been here. couldn't even get logged on with my orginal "sxviper 1+2=3 cylind" screen name. there goes my 500+ posts.
now, there's a lot of SRX guys here, and i need their opinions. I have a 2002 viper, 5200 miles. i have an m-10 and works shocks in the front suspention. i really like the way it rides. i also like the egros.
my dad is getting rid of his 2000 SRX with 2500 miles. is buying my bros REV for his bad back. but he thinks i should trade him straight up for the SRX, which has stiff ohlins in front, and slide my m-10 under it.
what do you think? i'm content with what i have now. the motor of the SRX is sweet for sure, but don't know if it's worth giving up what i have now. there's a lot of extra weight on that sled.
what do you long travel SRX guys think?

Stiff ohlins? turn the clicker and soften them up. Ohlins and Works shocks arent even in the same leage. I would say keep your viper, I wouldnt worry about the 5200 miles. ===SRXSRULE===

if you dont care too much about the power difference, keep the viper. The suspension can take the bigger hits better and it is just a little more versatile trail sled.

I'd go with the SRX olins up front, M-10 in rear. Throw some longer shafts (around 1") in the olins. 1" longer shaft will give about 1.5" more travel at the ski. It's worth looking into.
