WHat Mods too get viper shocks on vmax?
Hey guys I no there's post out there on this but, can't seem to find clear ones.
Looking to buy a set of front shocks for a 01 Vmax. Went out riding this weekend and broke the old stockers. Snapped one of the shafts (lazy/blown to start with guessing it was the snowbanks/60-70 on really bumpy trails that did it in).
Sled gets a beating/yet gets routine matainence. Looking for a set of front shocks that'll hold up good for snocross/agressive trail riding. Before to long it'll be getting a Pro X skid with a set of evan walkers racing shocks in the rear. So need the front to be able to hold up.

ohlins clickers, no question
WHat about the YA750 (46PRC) It's the front end Vmax Racing/Snocross intended shock granted there $1300 I dunno if that's the clicker or what.

i have viper takeoffs that have then been revlaved by pionier and never installed. 200 shipped

yes, the 46 prc's are compression AND rebound adjustable, those are EXCELLENT shocks, most people say the best riding shock they have ever rode on. I know they were DAMN smooth to me

Ya, all ohlins, aleast those(46PRC's) are rebuildable right? Ya got another pro gold just to get me through the season granted I have enough to get them, just between getting my licence mon. and insurance and a truck gonna drain me a bit. But ya over the summer wanna pimp out the sled more, yet a new yzf would be oh so nice.

BTV - Are they a direct bolt on and do they raise the front of the machine?
