Ok..My last post for the day... I have a 99 SRX with the stock track. I ride upper Wisconsin trails and Michigan. I am considering changing the track for something with better hook-up. I want to set this sled up to be great out of the hole and run a minimum of 105-110. I generally drag race on the lakes, but not on long runs. I will also definately want to stud it. I have looked through the many posts on here about tracks, but it seems like everyone doesn't want to lose any top end. I would be ok losing 5-10 on top if it was that much better out of the hole. Of course both would be great, but that seems to be the trade off. Thanks again guys!!

2 of our SRX's (1 99 700 and 1 98 600) have the stock tracked mounted "backwards".

This makes for much better hookup than our other 99 SRX (600) with the stock track mounted in the standard position. The 4th SRX we have is a 98 with a not stock 700, and has a fully picked track (from previous owner who used to race it).

Yes - we have 4 SRX's in our shed.

That being said - we don't "drag" - we just ride really fast. Mostly trails and some off-trail riding.

The only time we ever get passed is when we are stopped!

:yam:

1.175 woody's work real nice with the 1" tracks. The camo 9830 is an awesome 1" track, great hookup, and no top speed loss. Ripsaw hooks even better, but will lose some top speed.
