Need some help with adjusting ride height the ohlins manual says between 10 & 20mm by adjusting spring preload. Is ride height that important,i have the maxxperf long travel kit installed.i just want some of your Guy's input on ride height, should this be set before adjusting suspension.the shocks are valved for agressive riding for 200 lb rider. i also have quick rods set at 3.

well

You need to set the front end sag first. On a short travel front it needs to be 15%. Pic the front clear up until the skis are just barely touching. Measure the height of the bumper. Let the front down, compress it, and remeasure. should be about 15%. From there set the rear. Maxdlx

As I told you before 3 is the wrong set up for the trail. You have become comfortable with this overtime, but your handling would be better if you went up a line or so. In addition, you rear end wont bottom so easy, and will not sag so much.

As far as your set up--do as max says, and cotact Bruce at Pioneer Performance with further questions...after all he is in your back yard, and taught the boys at MAXX
