Can someone please tell me what else might be wrong. I just rebuilt top end with new wiseco pistons and had cylinders redone to oem specs. I removed the bowls on carbs and cleaned with carb cleaner checked main jets with gage pin for same size (o.k.) cleaned slides and reassembled. Everything seemed to be in proper condition. I have a problem when I reach about 50 mph the motor starts bogging down and wont go any faster. Could it maybe be a bad fuel pump ? (I also put a new fuel filter in tank and fresh premium gas) or something else. I have no problem starting cold or hot just bogs down @ from 1/2 throttle on. Thanks

something in your clutches is probably binding up. Tear the clutches down and check everything out, make sure all moving parts move freely, make sure the rollers, weights, and bushings aren't too worn out (including the bushing in the cover), get new springs if they are over a year old, clean them good with a scotch brite pad and hot soapy water.

Did you check the pilots? They are the ones that always get plugged from what I have heard. If it is engaging at the correct rpm and seems to be running right until mid range that doesn't sound like clutching to me but I am not an expert.

Could be clutching, ...but you might want to run it up to 50mph. (till it bogs) and hit the kill switch, ....check your plugs are they wet?
