i drive a 98 mountain srx. after stopping and cooling down for an hour or more i resume driving and i get a belt slip situation i assume it is just ice as it will clear up after several incidents. and run perfectly. It does not seem to be a problem first ride of the day but i have a track jack at home and always clear snow from track and tunnel. however on the trail it is almost impossible to do this due to the weight of the machine. do others have the same problem or is there something i may be overlooking.

When on the trail pick up the back end as high as you can and drop it a few times, this should break up the big chuncks of ice the have developed
