have a 1998 srx 700 that I have been long tracking to 151"/2".
Gearing:20-40
stock engine and secundary clutch(yellow-white-yellow)/43deg helix/ 80deg.
My primary: stock yamaha clutch (green spring)
It is working ok till I get in a steep hill, it takes off like normal, normal peak rpms but then it suddenly drops down to 7,000-7500rpms, and my left sylinder plug is blown up.I have tried different types of plugs but it doesen`t help.
At normal trail riding it works ok.
It seems like its blowing a plug when the sled is under heavy load at max rpm.
Could it be my coil that cause this problem?
Is there anyone out there who knows what it could be????
