You have it up side down. The tab on the PTO side (left) needs to be on the rear of the motor (carb side). Use 20lbs of torque to tighten them down. I have the diagram and instructions if you need. Do you know the torque sequence to tighten them? I can fax them to you. Just PM me.

The Largest Cooler Hole Goes On The Pto Side ....you Have It Backwards In The Picture ....

I put the opticool gasket on today because when i rebuild my mag cylinder last spring i thought maybe i got a little sloppy when torquing down the head gasket. It was leaking out from the head right above the power valve port.

So i take it apart today clean everthing up really good put the opticool on and torqued it down> First i went down 10 pounds then i tightened down to 20 pounds. I put the coolant back in and fire it back up and warm it up and the d**m thing leaks in the same damn spot. So i touqued bolts again still leaking.

What's my next step , plain the head to make sure it's not warped??

you SHOULD always use a new gasket .....but i have used my o/c gasket three times now ... no leaks ...yet...

Check head for warping but also inspect for cracks.. I have one that did the same thing.. Hair line crack in head..

maybe cylinder is shorter, did you replace,or get yours repaired? just a thought check head with straight edge and across all cylinders.
