Wife's viper has a Hauk #2 clutch kit. It was reving about 8700, I loosened the secondary a little and it is back down to 8400. Is this OK? You guys think I should I do anymore adjustments?

I guess it boils down to are you happy with the backshift now? does the sled overshift from a dead stop to wide open now, meaning it revs up quickly and then has a bog to it about 10feet out, then recovers and takes off? I always like to run the least amount of pretension as possible without producing the problem above, the sled will run better and have better topend this way. Its something you have to tune into the exact sled its being used on.

I would suggest putting more weight in the primary instead of taking tension out of the secondary.

I only do this in spurts a few times a month. Today was my day, but MrViper is already here. I think I am going to go put my skid back in my sled so I can go ridin.

It is great to have good snow nearby!!!

Runs fine now, backshift is good, just want to know if the RPM range is OK. I though stock was 8200 to 8300, so I am not too far off.

8400-8600 is good
