MBRP Race can mounting question

Hi!

I have an 04 Venom. On the MBRP website they they say the the race can for the Viper and the Venom are the same. Now i got the can but is their an extension or another peice to it for it to fit? I have the Venom ER, shouldnt make a difference i dont think.
