which ones do you guys prefer for trail and off trail powder. i currently have a 121" ripsaw and like it, but i am stretching the viper to 136" and need a new track. i ride in the u.p. and go off trail as much as i can. i would like to focus on deep powder, i dont think either one will have any problem on trail. both 1.25" lugs. thanks

personally, I dont care for my 136 ripsaw when it comes to off trail riding. It just dont work very well in soft/deep snow. I would go with the 6 pitch. Or a 2" paddle ===SRXSRULE===

i really shouldnt go any bigger than a 1.25" because i might stud it. i always run into an icy patch in the middle of corners and cross lakes every year. maybe 1.375? how will hifax wear with that? i also need it fully clipped for extroverts. narrows my choices a bit.

hifax isnt much of a problem untill you get over 1.5". If your buying a new track and new drivers, I would think about a 3.0 pitch, the track is lighter plus the 3.0 pitch extros run smoother. ===SRXSRULE===

i have a 136 ripsaw on my viper and it isnt bad in the powder, but on trail it is wonderful. for a multi purpose track , i think it fits the bill..... if you dont plan to stud, i would go with the ripsaw

You can buy six pitch fully clipped in 1" and 1.25", and the rip saw fully clipped.121 or 136.

I'm not really impressed with my Ripsaw "off-trail" I think my stock .92 yoko track did just as well off trail (just seems to dig instead of float). Its the BEST track I've ever used non-studed for trail riding though.
