My sled is still in the shop and my dealer was good enough to lend me his 02 SRX.
We where out with 5 sleds.New turbo 660 Cat,XC 700 and the reg fellows ZR 800 New 800 MXZ Rev long track thingy.
We were running the trails pretty hard and fast, an hour into our fun and the the XC 700 blows a belt.Not only does it blow the belt but pulls the speedo cable with it.The cable rips a hole in the belly pan and chews up both primary and secondary clutch faces so bad that he can't drive the sled so it had to be towed.
Second blown belt on the Turbo 660.Don't know why but the secondary was so hot that it had melted the plastic wheels so much that they would not turn.Off he went to the trailer, not sure why he could of driven it its not like the clutch wouldn't work IE like ours run on buttons.
Oh well it was a beautiful day 32*'s and sunny and the SRX ran really well and could hold its own against those 800's.
Long live our small 700cc's triples.
