I'm looking to use the the 9830 or the 9818 track pitch track. The 9830 is a purple track which could look pretty cool, but I'm worried about any flaws that could arise due to using a colored compound. Has anyone heard of any draw backs from using a colored or a 9830 track?
on another note, If I use one of these tracks should I stud them? How do I decide what size, how many, and what pattern is best for my sled? is there a link where I can find a diagram and explanation of patterns?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

9830 purple six pitch was the only color. I think flo green would be cool too.

don't wory about colored weakness, the black ones are colored black
I was told the colored track did not sell very well, so they scrapped them.
