I'm not going to use Yamilube any more. The valves get to gummed up.Some of the fellows I run with are using IPONE with great results. The power valves stay super clean and very little smoke. Its a little more $$$$ than Yamilube but it sure beats cleaning those valves. :WayCool:

You got to remember that Yamalube is only semi-synthetic (well it was when I had my srx anyway).

yes if you want cleaner valves change to a good synthetic. Amsoil Interceptor is really good, i have heard good things about blue marble as well as shell synthetic.

Klotz Snow-X.
Yamahizal700, it will do many things, include run bad, idle funny, and just plane old rob horsepower, depends on how bad you let them get. The is an awesome article on the tech page that tells you EXACTLY how to clean them. If you have not, I suggest it. I ran yamalube until I saw how bad they get. Now Klotz and no where near the gunk. If they don't come out easy, then you know they REALLY need cleaning.

yea if you let them go too long without cleaning them the cables can pull through the ends of the valves. That is an expensive little neglection.
