whats the best prices on the rtx with rev and the gt u guys got in mass maine and new hampshire.

Best prices I have ever seen in NE are Woody's in Topsham,ME. They advertize in Uncle Henreys all the time, and the price is out the door. Jackman Powersports is usually only a hundred bucks less or so. In NH Pittsburg Powersports will give you a good price as well.

pittsburg motorsports may be a bit higher, but it is WELL WORTH IT in customer satisfaction . I wouldnt go anywhere else!

My reply should have said "Jackman is usually only a few hundred more", not less. Pittsburg has always treated me very well too, although I have never bought a sled there....yet.

same here as far as service from pittsburg. I bought the viper there and it only got better. I had a freak thing where I had a powervalve cable snap off where it connects to the housing. was a rarity and they had been recently cleaned as I have it done every fall before use. long story short(er) I called them as soon as I found it (middle of the weekend) and they put me on the phone with darren, one of their mechs. he told me tae it easy on it and ride it over. they put it all back right in about an hour, took it in as soon as I got it there. I was pleased. it was out of warranty but they said it shouldnt have happened and I payed for the labor, nothing more. they cleaned all the valves and adjusted them, as well as a whole new unit to replace the snapped one. I was psyched and had MINIMAL downtime. buy where you ride, worth it in the end ;)

huh, never had any dealings with them, but have had bad dealings witha few other dealers and was curious about who you used. having a trustworthy dealer really makes the sport more enjoyable :)

I started at kawasaki yamaha of laconia, which is now hk powersports I think. they didnt inform me of the updates and recalls on my 97 600sx. so when the w arm broke the guy told me "you got your use out of it" what!!!!!!!!!! it was still under warranty! then when it burned down because I never heard of the updated rings he told me they wouldnt warranty it and again, still under warranty. then they decided to only rebuild half the engine. the other side then burned down a short while after, and I still ahd no idea about the update. then ended up at hudson cycle center. they put on a shitty clutch when it needed replacing by telling me it was better, and somehow managed to put my reeds in upside down and broken, so I sucked those threw the engine. what fun I had.... o, and hk also rebuilt the suspension for me when the arm broke, but never tightened anything. within 100 miles the shock had come unbolted and bent the shaft and tore up the track. made me pay for it as I "must have been abusing it" this is the end of my rant :) other problems too, but you get the picture... :(

i bought a rtx with rev out the door for $9299 yesterday from plaistow powersports. cheapest i could find i have a woodys hyperviper that i bought from woodys great deals and good service like them alot but they wanted $9499 same as pittsburg motorsports and every where else was 9499 or 9599 or i got a price of 9999 with 800 in accessories. anyone find one cheaper

I have had anything but good service from Plaistow Power Sports. They coudn't fix a tricycle if their life depended on it. The parts counter customer service is as friendly as a hungry viper and just about as knowledgable. They don't even have rivits in stock, have to order, once they can figure out what the are. Good grief!!

damn! sounds like you had a bad experience! I think I would probably pay up to $1000 more from pittsburg JUST for the service afterwards ALONE!!! I really feel they are that good. if I come in with a question about anything, even suspension setup, Vince sends me out back to see either of the mechs and talk to them. they stop what they are doing and will help me out for a few minutes to get me on my way :) actually before I ever bought a sled from them I needed a new grip for my 600sx. they sold me the glue to put it on and asked if I had a warm place to do it. I said no and he just winced and said it probably wouldnt hold and to leave the sled there overnight. they would even install it in the morning so everything was good and warm and charged me nothing for it. was all ready to go for me in the morning, around 7 or 7:30 if I remember right. I was psyvhed, especially after having to drive my sled to laconia 3 times to get my clutch adjusted...all in the same day. this was a nice refreshing experience comparitively

My next sled will be purchased from Pittsburg Yamaha, the extra couple hundred bucks is worth having the sled set up correctly out the door. Never bought a sled there but they have gone above and beyond to fix a problem to keep me on the trails. They are skilled in repairing snowmobiles and not just passing time until motorcycle season. Good poeple!

yeah, good point. my sled was set up for my weight properly, and the clutch did NOT overrev, they took the time to set it up properly as well. good people, and always kevin and vince judd in there, the owners. never talking to someone that knows NOTHING.

Never had a problem with Plaistow power sports... I do know the service manager so that might help.... Then agian their prices are high compared to Woody's... I bet you didn't get to keep the cash with the price plaistow gave you...

Just Bought an Apex GT

Well, if we are talking price, I just signed up and put my $300 down on my new Apex GT price was $9299 and I got the $800 of accessories. If I wanted to buy it without accessories the price would have been $8900. Taxes of course are extra. I called three dealers and the lowest anyone would go hear in IL was $9600 on the GT and that was taking the $400 off and no accessories. One dealer said $10,000 and that was the best he could do. It pays to check around here in Illinois.
