Who’s put a 16” wide track under their Yamaha Tunnel? Good/Bad? Worth it?

I know it’s a matter of drop down brackets and shaved bolts and it will fit, just want to know if anyone who’s done it regrets it. Not sure why you would, just checking.

Thanks

16 wide

A 144x16 is actually bigger than a 151x15 track. More track will mean more flotation in the powder. I'm just curious if anyones done the 16. A few of us were just talking about it.

Thanks

I had a 16" wide track on my first sled, a 88 cougar, but I think it was only a half inch lug. I did much better with my next sled , but it had much more suspension and horsepower to go along with the 15" wide .75" I think.

I'd say the added inch in width helped some, but I dont have an apples to apples comparison.

I don't know why you wouldn't change to a wider track if your buying a new one anyway

Mountain SXR- sorry-wrong.
dont waste your time on a 16"

go longer

151

Would like to run 151, but then I have to buy a skid. Way too much for me now. I have a 121 extended out to 141 - 144 is as long as I would extend.

If I had a 144 skid on now, I would extend to 151, but that's not the case.

Thanks though
