That 156x20 ripsaw doesnt really look like a ripsaw pattern at all, and it says there is a rear exit exhaust, but i dont see it in the pictures. The under seat storage looks like a pretty nice place to keep only some smaller items and the rear rack appears to be smaller than that on the previous model.
It seems to me that yamaha is almost aiming for trail riders with the viking update, but i guess the only way to find out if it is a worthy replacement for the vk is to wait and see what the people that use these sleds day in and day out have to say about it.

probably a preproduction pic, kinda like how some pics show an apex with the old gauges. I think that with the huge tq and extra range (dad consistently gets around 20-22mpg) of the 11.2 gallon tank, you can haul a lot for a long distance. and the ability to have the winch on the front along with the hood mounted cargo rack you should be able to bring as much-more stuff. looks pretty damn cool I think
