1.25" vs. 1.5" need suggestions

i need to deciede on a new 136" track. i ride trails and i am getting into off trail powder more and more in the u.p. does a 1.5" work a lot better than a 1.25" in deep snow with similar profiles? how does a 1.5" hold up on the trails? the viper is heavy and i dont want to dig it out anymore than i need to! thanks.

A 1.5 works Much better then a 1.25 with the same profile. I have ran them all, 1.0,1.25,1.5,1.75,2.0 and next will be a 2.25. The 1.5 works fine on the trails unless they are a fresh groom thats set-up very hard. ===SRXSRULE===

what dont you like about the 1.5" on a hard packed trail? thanks for all your help.
