Can I remove the "plugs" that block the ram air vents on my Venom?
Why did Yami. get away from the forced air induction system?

you mean the forced snow ingestion system?

almost everyone had to put powder pre filters on theirs to help keep the snow off of the air box lid if they did any powder riding at all.

their claim that I remember when the venom first came out was that they didnt have time to calibrate the carbs for the extra pressure. not sure why they never did, but looks like they were too damn bust making some sweet new skids and chassis  :4STroke:

yammie should have never even delivered any "forced snow ingestion" sleds to any dealers without installing the pre filters. i had to buy them after my second ride on my new machine after i almost pulled my hair out stopping every 10 mins to clean off my air filter

lol my brothers did the same thing.

2da as for your question, yes you can do that but you will probably have to rejet ritcher to compensate for the increased airflow on the mid and top end. sry i woludnt have any specs for you on this as i havent done one or even heard of someone doing this mod.

you probably dont have the ducts for the forced air!!!!
you just have plugs over the holes like the mountain sleds, they have to buy ducts
the forced air doesnt put snow on the air filter it puts snow under the hood which is sucked on to the air filter, I bought a prefilter for the air box and going to prefilter the induction ducts then dump that air to the top of the air box, also added 2 flo-rites
just got back from riding in real powder out West
