Nice Sled Steep , Has Skinnydoo Over @ Doo Talk Showen Any Pictures Of His Yet ???? Omg It Is Also One Sweet Ride !!!!

thats an awesome sled even if it is a rev. hey, how does the paint hold up on the belly pans? does it crack off easily, special paint used? thanks!!!

Damn nice Rev you have there Chuck. Think that we'll be seeing you back in the Yamaha camp in the near future? We need to see what you can come up with again with a Yamaha next time.

SD should change they're official colour from yellow to blue, ...nice job!

Btw why are the sledtreads mounted vertical?

Another year or so and I'll be modding a wicked Yammi up...maybe some titanium supercharged off trail screamer. :WayCool:

The paint is just automotive paint with special bonding agents and flex additives. Ran over some big trees last weekend and not even a scratch...couldn't believe it myself. The clear coat is what gives you the protection you need.

Haven't seen Skinny's sled yet...but I'm sure it's nice.

just curious why you went with a union bay motor...you can make the ski-doo mod 800 motor and get crazy horsepower out of it...also what exhaust are you running...single pipe? twin pipes? carbs? it is one sic sled...probably the nicest one i have ever seen...also whats the weight?

My motor is just a Doo 800HO bored and ported to 830cc by Union Bay. That way I get to run the two ring pistons and avoid all the flaking ring issues that the Doo motors are famed for. Haven't weighed it yet, but it is much lighter than my Viper. They all are heavy when you get them stuck anyway.

My rear rack on my Viper was a stock MPI one (mountain performance inc).

Not the REV BARON sled....sold that last fall to a fellow in Illinois. Built a Summit and sold that to a guy in Alaska, then I built this one for myself...until something better comes along.

Wow you sound pretty busy, I hope to have a place and the time to work on sleds that much some day. I had one 5 day work week this year, which is when I got my 100 miles this season, the rest have been 6 day work weeks. Viper XC
