any opinions or tips? thinking I will get a new track for next season over the summer. just out of curiosity I looked around and found that the hartman kit is $750 and includes quite a bit of things. anyone know what track it comes with? lists that it includes track but not what it is. price seems almost too boog to be true, is it? am I missing something? and also, is the 136 a good choice? I do all on trail riding and would just be looking for smoothness and a bit of traction. any downfalls? will I lose out some of the "on rails" feeling? the thing I would hate to lose is the amazing handling... but I plan on getting a set of simmons flexi skis at the same time. would this cancel out any loss of handling? and finallly, would I lose a lot of top end? not terribly important, but curious. thanks a lot guys, :rocks:

o, and any idea if the yamaha rear heat exchanger will work with this kit? anyone have any good pics of the extension? want to see the fit and finish :) thanks again!

stock exchanger will not work. i got a maxx perf kit for mine so i can use a stock cooler. lots of pics on there website.

are you happy with it? any downfalls? what did you gain and lose? really thinking it may be the way to go if it wasnt a TON more $$

actually all the parts are still in the box! $265 for extension, hoses covers and all hardware. other than that you need tracks usa rail extensions $95, new hifax $30 and new track of your choice. i dont think the hartmann kit is cheaper at all. also check the lenght of the tunnel extension. most are 144" tunnel extensions, i really dont ike how they look. another reason i went with maxxperf. here is a link to pics. look at the viper s at the bottom of the page. http://www.maxxperf.com/pics_1.html

i put the mountain performance option 2 kit with relocation, all parts including track =about 850 bucks.... i love it, handles awesome on trails, really smooths out the stutters, and still handles the curves well, i run no studs, ripsaw track, with 6 inch woodies up front.... if you have any questions, hit me with a pvt... u can save about 90 bucks if u just want to extend and not relocate the skid...

my buddy did a 136 on his sx with tracksusa extensions and a maxx perf tunnel extension kit (deluxe) and he loves it. I drove it some too, and really love it. It hooks up awesome, handles awesome, so straight down the trail. Definately worth it in my opinion.
