i just picked up a tempaflow for the viper. anyone have any tips on mounting the body in an area other than the air box? i was thinking under the handlebar pad. i dont want to risk a burndown after a quick stop and nailing it on a long stretch.
any tips or advice? thanks

If its in the air box, you know it will be seeing the same temperatures as the engine air

i had mine mounted behind the airbox on my '01 SX 700R, worked great for almost 6,000 miles so far, both piped and stock.
