keep the sled. your insurance broker will stay poor.
or if you really want a bike xt it. they are good for almost 90mph, cheaper on insurance, cheaper to buy and defiately cheaper on gas. i can drive mine to work all week in the summer for $5.00 in gas and i live 30 min away on a highway each way. i know this cause my dealer gave me heck for the speed i run mine at. it used to lean out on the highway while i am runnin 60mph. btway its a 2000 xt 350.

I have this one the only thing different is I have the red version and its acouple years older. Still I think its in your best mind to sell the sled because summer is right around the corner. OR do what I did...keep the sled and buy a bike-garth

my last bike was a 84 Honda V65 Magna, 120hp 6speed enough torque to go 0 to 100 without shifting and dirt cheap insurance.
twice I got pulled over and the cops said "nice bike"

Get the R1!! I just picked my Raven 05 up last weekend, put 200 miles on it and love it. Traded my 03 R6 that was piped and PC'd. My R6 was a great bike but this one revs quicker and has power everywhere. Also the nearly 100MPH first gear is coool!! I already have more miles on this bike than I got on my 780SRX this year and I didnt have to drive 600 miles in a truck to do it. I have given up on sledding this year. Once the front wheel powers up at 70 MPH you will forget all about the Viper.

I like My 99 V-Max 1200. I stayed with Yamahas all the way. Not the greatest for corners, but unreal in a straight line. Tons of add ons on this thimper.

yes it an on off. last year for the 350 too. for my 350 i pay $400 canadian for insurance for a whole year. for the 1992 xt225 i had i was payin $250 a year. i scared myself the first time on the 350 too. pulled wheelies at every light takin off the same way i would on the 225 till i got used to it. some times a nice xt 500 or 650 shows up on ebay.

it amazes me how well the yamaha and honda sportbikes hold their value, even with some decent miles on them. Much better than other recreational type vehicles
