HELP. With coolent sensor readings

Does anyone know what the cold resistace should be on the coolent sensor On a 2001 SRX700 And what the ohm setting should the meter be set on
Or if coolect sensors are a common problem and if this the right direction to be going if i have a code that flashes ( 1 long 3 quick )

I do not have any SRX info but if they used common components this may help. 97 SX 600 and MM 600 the sensor resistance at 0 degrees C is 5.2 to 6.4 kilo ohms.
At 80 degrees C it's 290 to 354 ohms.
