Ripsaw is gone. Need studs, so I am looking for advice on a 136" track that I can stud for my Viper. Most likely a 1" lug.
let me know.

think about going with the ripsaw with 8T extroverts. did it with mine and love it. ride mostly groomed trails and fields, usually icy, and it hooks up great. can really feel it hook coming out of powder.
Ripsaw clipped every 3rd
Cannot use 8T extroverts I think. Thought I saw where you could cut out the windows and run extroverts. Anybody done that?

they make fully clipped ripsaws now. also if you are really going to beat on it off trail get the extroverts or it will ratchet.

Well
Already have the 136" ripsaw with every third. Been "really" beating it off trail with std. 9T drivers and 2" slack in track. "no" ratcheting at all.
Just thinkin maybe 8T extroverts as precaution, but confident 8T driver will work fine.

9 tooth never seem to rachet nearly as easily as 8 tooth. i would keep on the safe side and run extroverts. if you need stock 8 tooth drivers i will have a set for sale in a couple weeks.
Huh?
Don't you have an ad for them already in the classifieds? I responded to one and i think you are the originator. I see Yamaholic is a believer in cutting the track 1/8" and using 1.17 studs. Really thinkin, since i have all summer, that that might be the way to go.
Really do not want to go to 8T peroid. BUT, what about my UHMW tunnel protectors and the aluminum fronts I ground off?
