I had one of these on my SRX but after 2 burndowns I took it off because I could find no other fault but the unit and it was installed as per the instructions.I noticed a few references by a couple of members about a glitch that can occur after a stop, something about not running too hard for a bit once underway again.Whats this about?I cant say as I remember reading anything in the installation instructions about this but it may explain the problems I had.

the tempaflow body heats up and leans it out too much after a stop. the instructions say to take it easy for 1/2 to 1 mile after a stop. if you mount it in the handlebar pad you dont have that problem.

I had the ATTAC on my 00 SRX and I burned it down twice, the second time I had the wiseco pistons ceramic coated and the PC-9 coated skirts and I burned it down again so I put the motor back to stock and I ran it for 165 miles and it ran great. I could keep up with my dads RX1 for the most part and he has the air box mod on his sled and he also has the Hi-Tech paragon roller secondary clutch. I have the Hi-Tech ER secondary roller on mine. I get almost the same gas mileage as him. By the way, I threw the ATTAC in the garbage.

If the ATTAC kind of the same way than I should have been ok because I had been riding for over a half hour and not hard at all and mine burned up. These are 2 different products though.
