Hey guys, I took my cylinders off my 2002 mmax to send to bender racing, i marked my cylinders 1,2,3 but when I got them back they had numbers pur on them also, 3,2,1 in different order, and it looked like it was not my cylinders, likeley he just swapped them out for a set that was already ported to save me time, that's ok but does it matter which one goes where? or are they interchangable?
This is America.

aside from the physical dimensions, the clutch side cylinder may run slightly cooler and require slightly richer jetting

Running a little rich will only affect spark plug fowling and mileage. If one is to error, it is safer on the rich side. That being said, normally when a cylinder is running hotter, you increase jetting to cool it down. If a cylinder is running cooler, you would decrease jetting to heat it up for more efficient burning and more HP. Just don't go too low or you won't be riding at all!

I don't think I'll have any problems running lean, I have 170's right across the board for main jets, I have many mods on my sled and am running NOS so Im a little high on purpose.......
