I was riding in Baraga last weekend and it started snowing hard and I mean really hard so hard that we were going 30 mph on perfectly flat trails because we couldn't see a thing. After an hour of riding through this storm my viper started to run like shit when i opened the hood at the gas station i noticed the air box was almost completly frozen over. After cleaning the ice off it ran fine so i guess that forced air induction is just a funnel for snow.

it's basicly forced snow injestion. make sure to buy a set of prefilters for the ducts on the hood, and a prefilter for the air box fiter itself. small amout of preventative maintainence will go along way. most perforance shops have these. it is a must for powder hounds. ski
