Has someone allready made a decision about a new ride for `06 ?

If so, what is it ?


I was checking the prices of the new Yammie`s here, too high for me. So I´ll stick with my Vmax4. It is still so sweet that I won`t be sellin it ever I think. BUT, I´ll get 4-stroke for sure sometime in the future and let my V4 be a backup ride for the sunny weathers in springtime .

I have still lot of sleddin time left for this season, probably until mid april. Usually I still ride until the last week of april.

I will be doing a 136" conversion on my Viper so it will be new, kinda. I have 1300 mi. so it is just past a good break in. ViperXC

That nytro with a 136" conv. would look great.

I doubt I will be getting a different sled any time soon. I would kind of like to sell my XC and get an SXr or a Viper/Venom but I think that would more of a step sideways than would it be a step up. Same suspension basically (the EDGE probably has a little bit better rear suspension) but going back to a triple would be nice for the smoothness.
My '01 600 XC only has 5000 miles on it, so I figure I have at least another 5000 before I need to worry about getting a different sled.
If the price was right on MrSled's SXr I might be interested in that though...

Seems like Apex is the no.1 option. It is a great looking machine, and very great tech wise. Haven`t got chance to ride one yet. My dealer did not get any yet for a test ride.

Lot of people are talking about jumping ship, especially Poo guys are considering taking the new Yammie`s to test . The new smaller Fusions don`t seem to be that appealing...

Mr.Sled, if you meet peole from Yamaha, ask why we pay so much more for our sleds here in Europe, especially in Finland. I know the € is much expencive than the $, but it is not the hole truth
